EXHIBITION GALLERY
The temporary
exhibition gallery provides hanging space and facilities for a varied programme
of exhibitions. It provides visitors with an opportunity to view the museums collections,
explore local history through exhibitions and activities and have access to
touring art exhibitions not previously available in the area.
The gallery
also provides a venue for local artists and community groups to exhibit their
own work.
The exhibition
programme changes roughly every two months and covers a wide range from
contemporary art to hands-on interactive exhibits. Keep checking back for
details of our exhibitions.
