Motherwell Heritage Centre is really easy to find - its tower makes a prominent landmark on the Clyde Valley skyline.
By Car - Turn off the M74 Glasgow - Carlisle motorway at Junction 6 and make your way up the A723 (Hamilton Road) towards Motherwell. Go up to the top of the hill. Turn left, immediately after the pedestrian crossing, into High Road and the centre is straight ahead. Parking is first left, to the rear of the centre.
By Train - From the station exit, walk straight ahead towards the shopping centre and then turn right, over the railway bridge and first right into High Road. The centre's tower is easily seen from the station. Walking time is around 5 minutes and there are regular trains to and from Glasgow Central Station.
By Bus - Frequent services run from Glasgow Buchanan Street bus station to Motherwell, from platforms 16 to 22. Local services connect with Hamilton and other Lanarkshire towns.
Other Attractions - Make a day of it and enjoy some time out at these two nearby facilities:
Aquatec Leisure Centre (pool, flumes, ice skating and health suite).
Strathclyde Country Park (boating, indoor and outdoor sports, cycling and walks)
